3G rule in the Foodcourt on Deck 2:  recovered, vaccinated or tested – from Monday, 13 September 2021

In accordance with the decision of the Federal Council of 8 September 2021, the 3G rule will apply in certain areas of Welle7 with effect from Monday, 13 September 2021.

In order to use the seating areas of the Foodcourt on Deck 2 from Montag, 13 September 2021 onwards, you will require a valid COVID certificate* (except for takeaways**) which proves that you have been vaccinated or tested, or have recovered. Please note that the certificate will be checked on Deck 2 if you use the seating areas. Have your COVID certificate* (QR code) and a valid, official identity document (e.g. ID card) ready. In this way, you can help to ensure that we can guarantee an entry procedure which is as smooth as possible.

*Only COVID certificates with a QR code will be accepted, either in an appropriate app or in paper form. Written confirmation of your vaccination status, vaccination records and test certificates will not be accepted. Anyone who hasn’t been vaccinated or recovered must present a negative rapid antigen test (no older than 24 hours).
**Guests who do not consume anything on site and only use the takeaway service are exempt from the 3G rule.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Obligation to wear a face covering

It is compulsory to wear a face covering throughout Welle7.  Face coverings must be worn in all shops, public areas and public spaces. The seating areas in the Foodcourt on Deck 2 are exempt from the requirement to wear a mask, and access is only possible with a valid COVID certificate (see above for more information).

Cantonal changes to the COVID protective measures

The governing council of the Canton of Bern has enacted new measures that will enter into force on Monday, 29 November 2021 and will impact the implementation of the individual offerings as follows:

Masks must continue to be worn throughout the entire Club School. The obligation to wear face masks shall also apply if you are vaccinated against, have recovered from or have tested negatively for the coronavirus. The existing hygiene measures (social distancing and disinfecting hands) must continue to be observed.

In classroom courses with just one or two sessions (seminars, workshops, tests, etc.), the obligation to present a certificate shall also continue to apply.

In sports and health courses (fitness and dance), face masks must now be worn at all times. The only instance in which face masks do not have to be worn is when taking part in sporting activities.

In relaxation courses, face masks must now be worn, even during the lesson.

In cookery and drinks courses, certificates must be presented and face masks must be worn at all times. The face masks may only be taken off to consume food and drinks.
